Colleen McCartney

Senior Associate

Colleen joined the Employment team as an Associate after completing her training contract.

Prior to that, she worked in our Legal Services Centre in Belfast where she gained a great understanding of large scale project work. She has experience advising on both non-contentious and contentious employment issues and has significant experience advising on multi-jurisdictional projects, including advising JPM on a number of global surveys.

Colleen has experience conducting sensitive investigations and spent five-months on secondment into the investigations team of a global consultancy business, advising on a full spectrum of employee misconduct issues, drafting investigation reports, advising on process and strategy and reporting to senior internal stakeholders. Collen also advises on high profile litigation involving discrimination, harassment, and whistleblowing. In addition to advising on day-to-day workplace issues, she drafts service agreements, settlement agreements and HR policies and provides training on UK employment law.
