Cindy has broad experience in a range of banking and finance transactions, including acquisition finance, corporate lending, real estate finance, pre-IPO financing and loan trading transactions. Cindy regularly works with both Chinese and international banks and credit funds on cross-border financing transactions.

Cindy is qualified in Hong Kong and England & Wales. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

  • A global financial institution in connection with certain term and revolving loan facilities to a growing fintech company headquartered in Hong Kong.
  • The lenders in connection with the US$ 5.27bn syndicated facility to ByteDance, which operates the social networking services and apps TikTok and Chinese-specific counterpart Douyin.
  • The lenders in connection with the restructuring of a HK$4.5bn syndicated loan financing secured by certain hotel assets in Hong Kong.
  • Various credit funds on a number of direct lending transactions.
  • Huazhu Group Limited (also known as H World Group Limited, a hotel management company in China) as borrower on the EUR440,000,000 acquisition financing of a hotel group in Europe and a revolving facility of US$500,000,000.
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, in connection with the US$900,000,000 dual-currency sustainability linked term loan facility for China Gas Capital Management Limited, which is guaranteed by China Gas Holdings Limited, marking China Gas's first socially responsible syndicated loan in the Greater China region.
  • The lenders in connection with the refinancing of certain facilities for Agile Group Holdings Limited, a China real estate company listed in Hong Kong, with an aggregate value of over HK$8bn.
