Experience

Representative matters

  • A confidential seller on the prospective sale of its vertically integrated global tantalum products group, including conducting and coordinating a comprehensive vendor due diligence program. 
  • Advising an Australian-based joint venture in LNG price review negotiations and expert determination proceedings under sale and purchase agreements for the sale of LNG into North East Asia (value c. USD500m). 
  • Horizon Minerals on the acquired disposal and farm-in of mining tenements, offtake and royalty agreements in relation to the proposed acquisition of Greenstone Resources Limited by way of two schemes of arrangement. 
  • Allied Gold Corp on its USD1.2bn reverse take-over of Mondavi Ventures Limited (now Allied Gold Corporation), the USD267m financing, and subsequent listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Pro bono

  • Providing internal corporate advice to the Mental Illness Fellowship of WA.
  • Participating in A&O Shearman’s ‘Standing out for the right reasons’ session as part of the Salvation Army’s Restorative Life Program at The Beacon homelessness facility.
