Experience

Representative matters

  • A European buy-now-pay-later lender as originator of a series of innovative SRT deals, each compliant with the EU STS criteria for on-balance sheet securitizations. The deals have featured both a debut issuer and a new consumer asset class with unique payment features.
  • A global insurer on a novel repack structure with an SRT note as the underlying. The structure enabled financing and credit risks to be apportioned between the different stakeholders.
  • Global financial institutions and UK Export Finance on the hybrid USD1.247 billion financing for the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance. The financing was structured so as to allow institutional investors to participate alongside commercial banks. This was a highly-innovative financing solution for an important sustainable railway project in Türkiye.

Pro bono

  • Working with a UK maternity rights charity to provide advice on rights at work, maternity pay and benefits for pregnant women and new parents.
  • Working with a legal advice clinic to provide advice on matters relating to housing and consumer disputes.
