Charlie has experience in a range of corporate transactions including multi-jurisdictional M&A, private equity deals, joint ventures, growth and venture capital investments and general corporate advisory work.
He has a particular focus on corporate transactions in the technology, energy and infrastructure sectors, working with companies and investors throughout EMEA and the US on complex and multi-jurisdictional transactions. 
 
Charlie spent six months on secondment to Revolut and has also spent six months on secondment to A&O Shearman’s Singapore office.

  • TravelPerk on its acquisition of Yokoy, a leading integrated travel management and expense platform. 
  • Ferrovial on the sale of its c.25% indirect interest in Heathrow Airport. 
  • CYVN Holdings in relation to its acquisition of the EV R&D division of Gordon Murray Technologies.
  • CK Group on their acquisition of Phoenix Energy, Northern Ireland’s largest natural gas distributor.
  • Wa’ed Ventures in relation to the extension of a Series A fundraising round of one of its ed-tech portfolio companies.
  • CEPSA on the sale to TotalEnergies of its upstream interests in SARB/Umm Lulu and Mubarraz, Abu Dhabi.
  • InfracapitalGreenfield Partners on the EUR110m investment into EnergyNest, a thermal energy battery storage company based in Norway.
  • A sovereign wealth fund in relation to its sponsorship and collaboration agreements with a Formula One team, as well as the resulting strategic partnership and minority investment in the team.
  • CWP Global in respect of securing investment from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in order tofund the development of a portfolio of green hydrogen and green ammonia projects.
  • 3i Infrastructure on its agreement to acquire Global Cloud Xchange (GCX). GCX is a leading global data communications service provider and owns one of the world’s largest private subsea fibre optic network (66,000km) across 46 jurisdictions.
  • KCADDeutag on its acquisition of Saipem SpA’s land drilling business.
  • An integrated energy and chemicals company on its acquisition of Neste’s group three base oils business, the exit from the integrated energy and chemicals company with respect to its acquisition of Neste’s global group three base oils business including its product marketing operations, the Sitra refinery JV with Bapco, and offtake from Porvoo refinery.
  • A public petroleum and natural gas company on its investment in Poland’s refining, wholesale, and jet fuel marketing segments through a number of acquisitions from Polish oil refiner and fuel retailer PKNOrlen following its planned merger with Grupa Lotos.
