Candace advises institutional lenders, investors, and owner/occupiers across the full lifecycle of real estate assets.

Her practice encompasses real estate finance transactions, asset acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, and estate management, acting for clients on both domestic and cross-border matters.

Candace also has experience in the data centre sector, where she frequently advises operators and investors, on the real estate aspects of data centre projects. This includes structuring and negotiating co-location agreements, hyperscale leases, customer contracts, and development financings.

  • Verne, a leading Northern European provider of low-carbon, high-density data centres, on its agreement with Arcus Infrastructure Partners’ (Arcus) for Arcus to acquire Volta Data Centres.
  • Goodman on its joint venture arrangements with CPPIB and property management agreements relating to the development of hyperscale data centres across Germany, France and Netherlands. Candace was part of the wider team awarded Outstanding Legal Team of the Year: Global/International law firms – Commercial Property Awards 2026 for the work on this transaction.
  • An Asian investor as landlord on the lease of Burges Salmon’s HQ in Bristol, the largest ever leasing transaction in the Bristol market.
  • A real estate developer in relation to a joint venture between the company and Feldberg Capital on the acquisition of Park House.
  • Virgin Media O2 on the merger of the Virgin Media O2 Business division with Daisy Group to create a major new force in the UK business communications and IT sector.
  • Negotiating of offtake/customer contracts structured as co-location agreements and hyperscale leases.
  • Lenders on the impact of terms of co-location agreement and hyperscale leases in the context of development financings.
