Bert Verhoeven

Senior Associate

Bert is an associate in our corporate team based in Brussels.

He advises on all aspects of corporate law, with a specific focus on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions (both for private equity houses and for corporate clients). He also has relevant experience advising on joint ventures in various industries.

Bert works with major international clients across jurisdictions and in multiple sectors including (renewable) energy, industrials, chemicals, technology and many more.

Experience

Representative matters

JERA on the landmark acquisition of a 100% interest in Parkwind NV, the largest offshore wind platform in Belgium and an offshore wind innovator in Europe. 

The family shareholders of the TVH Group, the Thermote and Vanhalst families, on the internal restructuring and carve-out of the various business units of the TVH Group (a global group headquartered in Belgium, specialised in the distribution of spare parts for industrial equipment on the one hand, and the lease of forklifts and industrial and agricultural vehicles on the other hand) and the subsequent auction sale of a 40% stake in TVH Parts to D’Ieteren Group. 

Rivean Capital on the acquisition of the Trust Team group, a Belgian based IT-service provider, from Ardian. 

CVC Capital Partners, a European private equity fund, on its acquisition of a minority stake in SD Worx, a leading European HR, payroll and workforce management solutions provider, in order to accelerate their European growth plans. 

Equistone Partners Europe and management on the sale of Amadys, leading system integrator of end-to-end connectivity solutions for the telecom, infrastructure and energy markets to ETC Group, backed by Cinven, the global private equity firm.
