Benedict is a specialist in all areas of intellectual property litigation and advisory work, with a focus on the technology and media sectors.
He acts for clients in relation to the management and enforcement of IP rights, including patents, trade marks, passing off/unfair competition, copyright, databases, designs and trade secrets. He also advises on related areas such as breach of confidence, defamation, content and platform regulation, advertising standards and intermediary liability. He has a particular interest in licensing and disputes in the video games and artificial intelligence sectors and follows developments in emerging technologies closely.
