Beáta specialises in high-stakes disputes with an international dimension, concentrating on international arbitration as well as administrative and commercial litigation.

While completing an Erasmus programme at the University of Lisbon, she enhanced her command of European, comparative and international law, together with human rights. Her practice also encompasses competition and corporate law, and she regularly undertakes pro bono representation.

Academically, she examines constitutional issues in the Balkans and contributes actively to the region’s scholarly discourse.

Experience

Pro bono

  • Provided primary support in drafting of a high-impact amicus curiae brief submitted to the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic on behalf of AmCham Slovakia’s Rule of Law Initiative, advocating for the petition of the President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová to review the constitutionality of selected key provisions of Act No. 232/2022 (the anti-inflation package) and the use of the expedited legislative procedure — later ruled unconstitutional.
  • Assisted in development and launch of the Rule of Law Tracker for the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights, working alongside the Center for International Legal Cooperation.
