Anna splits her time between the firm's Hong Kong and Sydney offices and is admitted in both Hong Kong and Queensland, Australia. With over 25 years of experience in Asia Pacific, she is a trusted adviser to multinational clients navigating complex regulatory landscapes across the region. Anna advises clients on the full spectrum of data protection, artificial intelligence governance, cybersecurity, and digital risk management projects. Her practice encompasses privacy and data protection advisory and compliance, cybersecurity regulation and strategy and incident response as well as advising on emerging technologies and technology transactions.
 
Recognised as one of the leading data protection, cybersecurity and technology lawyers in the Asia-Pacific region, Anna has advised on some of the most significant and high-profile cybersecurity incidents in the market, involving sophisticated threat actors and complex regulatory considerations. She brings deep expertise in managing multi-jurisdictional breach response, including regulatory notifications, enforcement proceedings, and investigations arising from data incidents and privacy non-compliance. Anna has extensive experience advising multinational clients on cross-border data governance, international data transfers, and regulatory compliance across the Asia-Pacific region, with particular depth in matters involving Hong Kong and Mainland China. Her expertise extends to AI governance and compliance, where she advises on data privacy considerations in AI systems, ethical AI deployment, and regulatory requirements for AI-driven solutions and to advising on complex data driven transactions.
 
Anna is a recognised thought leader, frequently speaking at global and regional conferences on AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity and is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
