Andrew is involved in, among other things, regulatory matters and professional indemnity claims.

Andrew joined Allen & Overy in 1978 and became a partner in 1985.

Between 1989 and 1994 he was Resident Partner of the firm's Middle East Regional Office in Dubai. Andrew has been the Head of the firm's Global Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice and was the partner leader on the firm's London Property Project involving the firm's move from New Change to Bishops Square. In 2014 and 2015 Andrew was the firm's Managing Partner of its Spanish practice, based in Madrid. He has been Allen & Overy's and now A&O Shearman's Global General Counsel since 2008.
