Alex has experience advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
She assists clients across a variety of sectors, including financial services and professional services.

Alex has particular experience in High Court litigation, including enforcement of post-employment restrictive covenants, the protection of confidential information and trade secrets, and applications for injunctive relief. She has experience conducting workplace investigations, and advising on litigious aspects of employment, including negotiating senior exits.

Representative matters

  • Acted in High Court proceedings concerning the enforcement of post-employment restrictive covenants, in which a twelve-month non-compete clause was upheld as reasonable and enforceable.
  • Acted in High Court proceedings involving the alleged misappropriation of confidential data and trade secrets by a former employee, which settled prior to trial.
