Alexander is a Counsel in the debt finance practice, focusing exclusively on fund finance.
He advises financial institutions, funds and corporate borrowers on fund financing transactions including subscription facilities, net asset value financings, and other secured and unsecured lending transactions both domestically and internationally.

Experience

Representative matters

  • Acting for a bank lender in relation to a net asset value facility for a Middle Eastern fund, involving Luxembourg, UK and US security.
  • Acting for an alternative US-based lender in relation to a net asset value facility for a UK real estate fund and their UK portfolio of properties.* 
  • Acting for a bank lender in relation to a subscription facility for a large UK institutional fund.* 
  • Acting for a syndicate of lenders in relation to a subscription facility for a SMA based in the Middle East.* 
  • Acting for a bank lender in relation to a large umbrella subscription facility for a number of European funds.* 
  • Acting for a lender in relation to a hybrid facility for a global private equity firm, involving both asset and capital call security across the US and Luxembourg.*
