Aditya specialises in leveraged and acquisition finance, advising private credit institutions and investment banks on sponsor-backed leveraged buyouts across a wide range of sectors, frequently involving cross-border elements.

He also has extensive experience acting for investment funds in event-driven, opportunistic, stressed and liquidity financings.

From April 2025 to February 2026, Aditya was seconded to the EMEA private credit team at Apollo Management International in London. During his secondment, he advised on and executed transactions across a variety of Apollo's finance product offerings, and assisted investment professionals with the legal aspects of fund-raising and reporting.

Experience

Representative matters

  • HPS Investment Partners on the financing supporting CVC Capital Partners' minority investment in connection with the commercialisation of the audio-visual rights of Ligue de Football Professionnel.
  • The mandated lead arrangers and underwriters in connection with a €5 billion financing package arranged for Zegona Communications plc in support of its acquisition of Vodafone Spain, as well as subsequent refinancings.
  • A group of private credit lenders on the notes financing supporting the acquisition of Doc Generici, a leading manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals, by TPG Capital, along with providing advice to lenders on subsequent bolt-on acquisitions.
  • A group of private credit lenders in connection with c. €1.1 billion credit facilities, in the form of various term loans and facilities upsizes, lending to a London-based global payments service provider, which at the time of the original financing represented one of the most significant debt financings for any privately backed startup in Europe.
  • The lead arrangers and underwriters on a €2 billion financing, involving a bridge-to-bond loan and a revolving credit facility, in connection with CVC Capital Partners’ investment in the audio-visual rights of La Liga, the top professional football division of the Spanish football league.
  • A group of private credit lenders on a EUR and USD denominated take-out financing of a €1.1 billion bridge facility agreement.
  • A private credit lender on a bridge-to-sale financing in connection with back-to-back loan being provided to a dental medical technology company headquartered in Switzerland.
  • A private credit lender on a bridge-to-sale liquidity solution to a Swiss-American group engaged in security technology to backstop the sale of its access and revenue management solutions unit.
  • A group of nine arrangers and coordinators in connection with c. €1.18 billion financing package involving a syndicated term loan and a revolving credit facility, along with various related facility upsizes in relation to the refinancing of the existing facilities borrowed by a sponsor-backed French payments services provider and subsequent corporate re-organisations.

Pro bono

  • Preparing a legal memorandum for a New York civil rights organisation on specific offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
  • Drafting the “Costs and Funding” section for a research report on Public Interest Law in England & Wales for the Public Interest Law Alliance (a project of Free Legal Advice Centres in Ireland).
