Shearman & Sterling Partners Named 2023 Law360 MVPs

Shearman & Sterling partners have been recognized in Law360’s prestigious 2023 “MVP” list.

For the fifth consecutive year, Adam Hakki (New York-Litigation), Shearman & Sterling’s Senior Partner, has been named an MVP for a string of courtroom victories in the last year for top 100 corporations in the technology, media, and financial services industries in cases in which billions of dollars in damages were sought. Adam is recognized as a Securities MVP in 2023 and has previously been named an MVP in the Banking category. Adam is also currently a finalist for The American Lawyer’s prestigious Litigator of the Year award.

Daniel Litowitz (New York-Mergers & Acquisitions), Shearman & Sterling’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions Deputy Practice Group Leader, has been named a Mergers & Acquisitions MVP for his work with his clients on several significant strategic transactions. Over the past year, Dan has advised JetBlue Airways in connection with its unsolicited bid to acquire Spirit Airlines and subsequent entry into a definitive agreement, Paramount Global on the pending sale of Simon & Schuster, CVS Health in a definitive agreement to acquire Oak Street Health and Liberty Global on several transactions.
