A&O Shearman represents Apollo on USD585 million financing for The Executive Centre
A&O Shearman advised Apollo-managed funds (Apollo) on its USD585m hybrid financing for The Executive Centre (TEC), one of Asia’s leading providers of premium flexible office space, with more than 260 centres across 38 cities in 15 markets across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

The financing will primarily be used to refinance TEC’s existing debt and support the continued expansion of its platform across key markets.

“We are pleased to have supported Apollo on this transaction, building on our longstanding relationship with the firm. The financing reflects Apollo’s ability to deliver innovative capital solutions that help businesses such as The Executive Centre execute their strategic objectives,” said Gautam Narasimhan, managing partner, ASEAN, at A&O Shearman.

“This transaction reflects the evolution of private credit beyond traditional direct lending, with hybrid and capital solutions playing an increasingly significant role in meeting the complex financing needs of companies across Asia Pacific,” said Matthew Del Rosso, partner at A&O Shearman in Singapore. “Working closely with Apollo and coordinating seamlessly across multiple jurisdictions, we delivered a flexible and scalable financing package on an accelerated timeline.”

The A&O Shearman team was led by partners Matthew Del Rosso and Tom Jokelson, supported by counsel Welber Yim and associate James Lau.

The matter drew on A&O Shearman’s market-leading private capital and finance capabilities across the region, with a wide team of lawyers from Singapore, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia contributing to the transaction.
