A&O Shearman advises PKO Bank Polski on EUR 500 million Tier 2 notes issuance

A&O Shearman has advised PKO Bank Polski on its issuance of EUR500m Tier 2 Subordinated Fixed to Floating Interest Rate Notes due June 24, 2036 under its EUR8 billion Euro Medium Term Note Programme. The transaction marks the bank’s first issuance of EUR-denominated Tier 2 notes.

Bank of America, Commerzbank, Crédit Agricole CIB, ING, and PKO Bank Polski acted as joint lead managers.

The A&O Shearman team was led by counsel Łukasz Walczyna, supported by Filip Główka. Jamie Durham provided English law advice and Arkadiusz Pędzich supervised the project.
