Brisbane Airport Corporation has completed its debut offering in the Eurobond market, issuing EUR500 million 3.856% Secured Fixed Rate Notes due 2035 under its EUR1.5 billion secured euro medium term note (EMTN) programme.

A&O Shearman advised a group of global financial institutions as joint lead managers on the transaction.

This marks Brisbane Airport’s debut in the Eurobond market, further demonstrating strong international investor appetite for debt issued by high-quality Australian infrastructure assets.

As longstanding advisors on the programme since its establishment in 2015, A&O Shearman reinforced its leading position in the sector by guiding the joint lead managers on the structuring and execution of this high-profile issuance.
