A&O Shearman advises Halma on its acquisition of Dreampath Diagnostics
A&O Shearman advised Halma plc, the global group of life-saving technology companies, on its acquisition of Dreampath Diagnostics, a French provider of automation solutions for anatomic pathology laboratories.

The deal helps Halma grow in a fast-expanding segment fueled by rising diagnostic demand and tighter regulatory requirements around sample traceability. By bringing Dreampath Diagnostics’ capabilities into the fold, the acquisition strengthens Halma’s healthcare sector and broadens its technology portfolio with solutions that improve patient safety, diagnostic accuracy, and lab efficiency.

“We are thrilled to have advised Halma on this strategic acquisition, which speaks to the strong momentum we’re seeing across the life sciences and diagnostics space. It also showcases A&O Shearman’s ability to deliver on complex cross-border deals by drawing on our deep sector knowledge and global platform,” said Anne-Caroline Payelle, partner at Paris office.

Halma is a London Stock Exchange-listed global technology group with operations in more than 20 countries. The company focuses on growing a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day.
