A&O Shearman advised global management consulting group Sia on its acquisition of U.S.-based strategy consulting firm Kaiser Associates. This acquisition follows Sia’s equity raise of up to EUR250 million from Blackstone funds announced in December 2024, which A&O Shearman advised Sia on.

The acquisition marks a significant milestone in expanding Sia’s strategic advisory capabilities, with the launch of a dedicated corporate strategy, private equity and M&A business line with an immediate presence in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Middle East, and Australia.

Sia is a next-generation, global management consulting group. Founded in 1999, with expertise across a broad range of sectors and services, Sia has 3,000 consultants serving clients worldwide from 48 locations in 19 countries.
