A&O Shearman advises Global AI on strategic partnership with HUMAIN
A&O Shearman is representing Global AI, an American sovereign AI infrastructure company headquartered in New York and a NVIDIA Cloud Partner, on its strategic partnership with HUMAIN, a company affiliated with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund delivering global full-stack artificial intelligence solutions.
This transaction seeks to accelerate the expansion of AI infrastructure globally, with plans to deliver large-scale AI data center and compute capacity in the United States. The facilities will provide AI infrastructure services for enterprise, public-sector, and AI-model-development partners, enabling model training, large-scale inference, and sovereign-cloud integration within locally governed ecosystems.

We are pleased to support Global AI on this strategic partnership with HUMAIN to help advance large-scale AI infrastructure in the United States and globally,

“This collaboration underscores the firm's commitment to guiding clients through complex, high-impact data center transactions,” said energy and infrastructure partner Dorina Yessios.

The A&O Shearman team that is advising Global AI is led by New York-based M&A partner Romain Dambre and energy and infrastructure partner and U.S. co-head of energy, infrastructure and natural resources Dorina Yessios. The team also includes U.S. head of tax Larry Crouch, technology transactions partner and technology sector lead Daren Orzechowski, corporate partner Andrew Schoorlemmer, real estate partner Carolyn Stoner, employment and benefits partner and global co-head of compensation, employment and governance Brian Jebb, and structured finance counsel Jonathan Cho.
