Allen & Overy advises palero on the acquisition of GTMB Metallteilfertigung and GTB Bahntechnik

Allen & Overy has advised private equity investor palero on the acquisition of GTMB Metallteilfertigung GmbH (GTMB) and GTB Bahntechnik GmbH (GTB) from Mettec-Holding GmbH.
GTMB is a specialized manufacturer of high-precision milled and turned metal parts. GTMB offers an extensive portfolio of technological possibilities from CNC milling/turning, 3D milling, automatic turning and complex assemblies to one-stop-shop. By consistently integrating its highly automated machinery with real-time, data-based ERP and production software, GTMB operates a smart factory that creates a valuable competitive advantage.

GTB is a high-quality supplier of safety-critical rail infrastructure and on-board train protection technology. The company offers a broad product portfolio that covers the entire range of safety-related equipment (trackside and on-board). GTB also has in-depth expertise in customized electronics assembly.

The acquisition of GTMB and GTB is a further platform investment by palero as part of the recently launched palero IV fund.The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
