Allen & Overy arbitration partner Kate Davies McGill appointed QC

Kate is a partner in Allen & Overy’s International Arbitration Group, and has extensive expertise in both international commercial and investment treaty arbitration and public international law. She has acted on some of the most significant disputes across a range of different industries; including, energy, telecommunications, automotive, technology, construction and pharmaceuticals.

Kate represents clients at all stages of international arbitration disputes, including appearing as lead (and often sole) advocate before renowned international tribunals. She has appeared multiple times opposite leading silks and before distinguished tribunals including former House of Lords, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court judges. She also sits as arbitrator.

Kate joined Allen & Overy as counsel in 2013 and became a partner in 2016.
