A&O Shearman advised Santander Bank Polska on its return to the euro market with a EUR500m fixed‑to‑floating note issue due 2031, marking the bank’s first syndicated euro issuance since 2018.

Managed by Banco Santander, Erste Group Bank and PKO Bank Polski, the successful placement highlights strong investor demand and provides diversified, cost‑efficient funding aligned with the bank’s long‑term strategy.

The A&O Shearman team was led by Łukasz Walczyna, counsel, supported by Filip Główka, associate. Jamie Durham, partner, provided English law advice, with oversight from Arkadiusz Pędzich, partner.
