Advising PKO Bank Polski on EUR500 million green senior non-preferred notes

A&O Shearman advised PKO Bank Polski on its issuance of EUR500m 3.625 per cent. Green Senior Non-Preferred Callable Fixed to Floating Interest Rate Notes due 2032.
The notes are listed on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and will be listed on the regulated market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Bank of America, Erste, Nomura, PKO Bank Polski and a global financial institution acted as joint lead managers. The transaction marked a significant milestone in the bank’s sustainable finance strategy, underscoring the continued momentum in green funding among European financial institutions.

The A&O Shearman team was led by Łukasz Walczyna, counsel, with assistance from Filip Główka, associate. Jamie Durham, partner, provided English law advice. Arkadiusz Pędzich, partner, supervised the project.
