Tom Spackman

Senior Associate

Tom advises on commercial and financial disputes with a particular focus on civil fraud and asset recovery disputes.

Tom has experience in a wide range of multi-jurisdictional commercial and financial disputes before the English courts across a variety of sectors. Tom has particular experience in civil fraud, judgment enforcement and asset recovery, and has worked on multiple civil fraud and cross-border enforcement matters. Tom has been recognised by Chambers UK as an ‘associate to watch’ in civil fraud for the past two years. In addition to his litigation practice, Tom has acted for individuals in relation to investigations by both domestic and international regulatory authorities.

In 2018/19, Tom did a client secondment to the dispute resolution team at an international bank in London working on a wide range of contentious issues.

As well as being one of the firm’s mental health allies, Tom regularly advises at a pro-bono legal advice clinic in London in relation to a variety of issues.
