Shelly represents clients in a variety of transactional and advisory matters involving commercial contracting, data and product integration, and assessments of legal risks related to licensing, intellectual property, data protection, privacy, liability exposure, and regulatory compliance.
 
Shelly’s unique skill set combines subject matter expertise with a practical and business-oriented perspective, gained from several years of in-house experience. Her approach to negotiating contracts and advising on legal risks is always rooted in practicality and efficiency, which her clients consistently appreciate. For over a decade, Shelly has worked with international clients operating across multiple jurisdictions mainly in the financial services and technology sectors. At A&O she regularly supports clients with development of strategies, policies and templates related to global services arrangements. She advises on legal risk related to the digitization of customer facing products, and supports clients with the drafting of online content, product terms and conditions, disclaimers, and other related materials.
