Michiel has more than 20 years of experience as an international M&A lawyer, advising prominent financial investors on complex private equity transactions, mainly in the business services, technology and healthcare areas as well as in the industrial sector.

His practice further comprises cross-border M&A, joint ventures and strategic legal advice for blue chip corporations, and he regularly represents leading infrastructure investors.

Brookfield Asset Management on the intended acquisition of a testing and inspection business in the oil and gas infrastructure space.

Advent International on the EUR 4bn sale of allnex group, a global leading manufacturer of industrial coatings, to PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited.

Charterhouse Capital Partners on the acquisition of telecommunications company Telio Management GmbH.

APAX Partners on various matters, including the acquisition of WSGN from Ascential.
