Lee has been involved in financial services regulation for more than 25 years, both as a regulator (UK FSA) and in industry (the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and JP Morgan). Notably, as General Manager, Global Regulatory Affairs at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia during that particular period, Lee led the bank during the AUSTRAC proceedings, APRA inquiry and Australian Royal Commission into Banking Misconduct.
Lee has led regulatory engagement, investigations and client/customer remediation projects, as well as assurance and independent expert reviews. He regularly advises clients on the design and implementation of governance, risk and compliance programs.
