He has worked extensively across the Greater China region, particularly in the sectors including financial institutions, healthcare and biotech, TMT, real estate, energy, retailing and food and beverage.
Prior to joining A&O Shearman, Kung-Wei practised for more than ten years at the New York and Hong Kong offices of Sullivan & Cromwell.
Kung-Wei is a native speaker of Mandarin and is fluent in English.
Kung-Wei is qualified in New York and Hong Kong. He focuses on securities offerings and has extensive experience in advising Chinese companies and Chinese and international underwriters, in initial public offerings and other equity offerings and debt offerings.
