Representative matters

A Gas and Oil Company on the $400 million tax equity investment of JPMorgan in the Danish Fields 600MWac of PV and 225 MWh battery storage system in Texas. To the date of closing, the tax equity investment is believed to be the biggest single unsyndicated tax equity ticket for a renewables project and the first project to combine solar production tax credits and energy storage investment tax credits in a single partnership. 

Autopistas de Urabá S.A.S. in the foreign exchange and foreign investment regulations applicable to the Mar 2 project finance transaction, one of the largest financing operations in Colombia in recent years for 4G toll road concessions (previous firm experience). 

Banca de Inversión Bancolombia, as lead coordinator, lead arranger, and lead placement agent, in the first issuance of bonds in the Colombian capital market to finance an important toll road concession carried out by Concesión Túnel Aburrá Oriente S.A. (previous firm experience). 

Termonorte S.A. in connection with a refinancing obtained from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group for the construction and operation of a power station of 93-MW in Santa Marta (Magdalena), Colombia (previous firm experience). 

Termo Caribe S.A. in connection with a project financing obtained from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group for the construction and operation of a power station of 42-MW in Santa Rosa (Bolivar), Colombia (previous firm experience). 

Ashmore Management and its subsidiaries, Electribus Bogota Fontibon II S.A.S. and Electribus Bogota Usme I S.A.S., two concessionaires of Bogotá’s public transportation system, in a senior secured term loan facility granted by Société de Promotion et de Participation pour la Coopération Economique S.A. (Proparco) and Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional S.A. (FDN) for the acquisition of a fleet of more than 250 electric buses (previous firm experience). 

A subsidiary of a financial services provider,  ZMP Fontibon III S.A.S. and ZMP Fontibon V S.A.S., two concessionaires of Bogotá’s public transportation system, in a senior secured term loan facility granted by IDB and BNP Paribas for the acquisition of a fleet of 229 electric buses (previous firm experience). 

Ecopetrol S.A. in a series of senior unsecured term loan facilities granted by BBVA Santander, JP Morgan Chase, SMBC, Scotiabank, and Deutsche Bank, among others to finance capital expenditures and general corporate purposes (previous firm experience). 

Cementos Argos in a senior unsecured term loan facility granted by BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Natixis New York Branch, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and the Bank of Nova Scotia to Argos North America Corp to refinance the loans obtained in 2018 by the company (previous firm experience). 

A San Francisco-based asset manager that supports entrepreneurs in the fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS industries, in a senior secured term facility granted to Adelantos Colombia S.A.S. (now PayJoy), a company in the mobile device financing industry, to expand its business in Colombia (previous firm experience). 

Victory Park Management in a senior secured term loan facility granted to Habi, a large Colombian property technology company, to fund its operations in Colombia and the region (previous firm experience). 

A leading company in the buy-now-pay-later industry, in a senior secured term facility for up to USD 30 million granted by Architect Capital to expand its business in Colombia and Brazil (previous firm experience). 

Finsocial S.A., a Colombian payroll loan operator, for up to COP 65 billion (approximately USD 17 million), to originate payroll loans in Colombia (previous firm experience).
