Gerrit has broad experience in M&A and growth capital.

He advises private capital managers on the full lifecycle of their investments, as well as founders and other corporate clients. 

Gerrit joined A&O Shearman in 2014. He has worked in the Amsterdam Corporate practice group ever since, save for an 18-month training rotation to the Amsterdam Litigation practice group (advising on post-M&A disputes) and a one-year secondment to the Bangkok Corporate practice group (advising on general M&A). He is a CFA charterholder since 2021.
