Zoe is a funds and asset management lawyer with experience in advising fund managers on the structuring and formation of a variety of investment funds, including real estate, private equity, infrastructure and debt funds.

Zoe also advises institutional investors on their investments into those funds. 

Zoe acts for a diverse range of clients, from global asset managers and insurance companies to development finance institutions and sovereign wealth funds. She has advised on large and complex fund transactions, involving multiple jurisdictions, asset classes and regulatory regimes. She also advises on the regulatory aspects of asset management and also has experience advising on joint ventures and M&A transactions, as well as regulatory issues relating to financial services outsourcing arrangements. 

Zoe delivers practical and commercial solutions to her clients, drawing on her knowledge of the funds market and the legal and regulatory challenges it faces. She is committed to providing high-quality service and building long-term relationships with her clients. She is also actively involved in the firm's gender diversity initiatives. 


Representative matters

The global asset management arm of a major US bank on the establishment of a parallel Luxembourg S.A. RAIF entry point into the 10th iteration of its global private equity fund. Advised on the establishment of the 11th iteration of the same series, structured as a Luxembourg SCSp RAIF.

A leading real estate investment manager on the establishment of (i) a European value-add real estate fund, (ii) a pan-European real estate debt fund, and (iii) a European logistics fund. Also regularly advised on queries relating to its open-ended fund focussing on APAC investments. 

A UK-based investment manager and affiliate of a multinational insurance group on the establishment of (i) a pan-European credit fund and its first sub-fund, and (ii) its specialty finance fund including all matters relating to its carry plan. 

A US-based pension fund on its £1.6 billion strategic joint venture with a UK real estate developer to fund the development of single-family housing in Cambridge, UK. 

An Emirati Sovereign wealth fund on its investment into a UK sustainable district heating co-investment platform. 

A consortium of development finance institutions on their investments into an African private equity fund.
