Prior to joining Consulting by A&O Shearman, Sophie worked for over 5 years at the FCA working in a variety of different departments including Retail Banking supervision, Lending and Financial Crime. During this time, she also undertook a 6-month secondment to Monzo Bank in their financial crime second line of defence team. After the FCA, Sophie spent a year at the London Stock Exchange Group in their Benchmarks Compliance team where she supported on their readiness for ESG benchmarks regulation.
