Gemma joined the ADL team in January 2014 and has been exposed to a wide variety of matters across different practice areas.

Gemma’s focus in recent years has been specifically on banking and finance matters. Gemma completed a secondment to the Singapore office where she supported the Banking team with day-to-day transactional assistance on some high-profile and high-value deals including, for example, managing the conditions precedent and conditions subsequent processes, drafting security documents, legal opinions, CP letters and ancillary documents and co-ordinating signing/closing.

Since returning from secondment, Gemma has continued to gain banking transactional experience through her work on a number of refinancings. She has also worked for major financial institutions on a number of loan portfolio sales and transfers that involved the review of finance documents and has carried out general banking due diligence, including in respect of LIBOR transition. Alongside her banking and finance work, Gemma supports the Corporate team on various workstreams including due diligence reviews, novations and NDAs.
