Dominique Coumans

Senior Associate

Dominique has a wide range of experience advising on and coordinating complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions with a particular focus in the infrastructure, energy and renewables sector.

Dominique advised various clients in this sector, including APG and Omers on Infrastructure on their acquisition of Kenter, Royal IHC on its sale of IQP to HAL Investments, Koninklijke Vopak on its sale of tank terminals in Hamburg, Algeciras and Westpoort, Arcus Infrastructure Partners on its acquisitions of HB Returnable Transport Solutions and Coolworld Rentals, Kallista Energy on its acquisition of a 40% stake in Windpark Krammer, Mammoet on its acquisition of ALE and Alfen on its IPO.
 
During 2021 and 2022, Dominique went on a six-month secondment to the Dubai office, where she worked on various transactions, including the Series-C investment by Prosus in Foodics. Dominique joined the firm in 2015 after obtaining an LLM in Business Law and an LLM in International and European Law (track: Competition law), both cum laude, at Tilburg University. Dominique is a member of the Dutch association for energy law (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Energierecht).
 
In 2022, Dominique has won the “Best Young M&A Lawyer” award at the Dutch M&A Awards.
