An indispensable part of any legal team undertaking a largescale complex matter, Dan’s responsibilities typically include scoping requirements, working with client teams and other advisers to develop interlocked plans, mapping out the optimal flow of tasks and actions, establishing a proportionate governance regime, coordinating PM resources and identifying and managing delivery risks.
Dan started his career in aerospace engineering, undertaking roles in aircraft line-maintenance, process improvement for the manufacturing of aircraft gas turbine fan blades and systems software development for aircraft flight simulators. Leveraging his process optimisation skills and diverse experience in project planning and management, Dan transitioned to the Legal sector as a legal project manager with a peer magic circle law firm for four years prior to joining the firm. His experience of applying project management principles to efficiently deliver legal work spans a broad range of legal practice areas, including multi-jurisdictional surveys, corporate and banking transactions, litigation, arbitration, international trade, crisis management and financial regulatory change programmes including Brexit.
Dan is PRINCE2 certified and has a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
